Check the status of your E2

To determine whether your E2 is ready to accept backups, you can check a status message in Portal.

To check the status of your E2:

1.   In a web browser, go to the Portal website and sign in. See Sign in to Portal.

2.   On the navigation bar, click Dashboard.

If you have purchased an E2, an E2 Setup Center message in the center of the Dashboard describes the E2 status.

If you have purchased more than one E2, a message appears for each E2. The Hardware ID in a message identifies the E2.

Note: If you click Hide in an E2 Setup Center message, you will not see subsequent status messages for the E2.
